Birth order, is first best
In this episode we cover:
- Birth order has a direct impact on the roles we learn and develop in our whānau.
- When we look at statistics, the eldest child often has a higher academic success rate and this linked to the time that they have with their parents (before other children are around and need their parent’s attention too).
- You can give your younger children some of the same benefits as the eldest by making sure they have more of your undivided attention and time.
- No matter the birth order, everyone has something special to contribute to the whānau, so everyone is valuable.
