Te Puna Oranga in collaboration with Te Whare Hauora, Te Pūtahitanga, Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu, and He Oranga Pounamu would like to invite you to consultation hui surrounding family harm/violence. The purpose of these consultation hui is to seek new and improved ways to strengthen the capacity of support for whānau to prevent the impact of violence within their lives.
This is for pōua, tāua, mums, dads, sisters, brothers, aunties, uncles, nephews, and nieces. In otherwords, it is for everyone who believes in a brighter future for their whānau and wants to have input on how we can create change and, build better support networks for whānau to put an end to the impact of violence. Are you ready to make a commitment to this kaupapa? Do you want to have a say when it comes to making change? A number of these hui will take place around the takiwā. The first is in Christchurch at Rehua Marae on Thursday 9 June 2016, from 11am until 3.15pm. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday 7 June 2016.
