It was a real privilege to be selected as the Ngāi Tahu representative on the North Canterbury Fish and Game Council. To have an opportunity to help promote Ngāi Tahu values and aspirations within the relationship with Fish and Game allows me to develop governance and relationship management skills within a kaupapa I am passionate about. The support I have received has been fantastic, and the formal training offered has definitely given me tools to do the task justice.
