Te Aka Haumi o Tahu – February 2020 Competition

Entry is open to registered Ngāi Tahu whānui members who are 18 years or older, as of 1 February 2020.

For the month of February 2020, you could be in to win $100NZD product/service/voucher at a chosen Ngāi Tahu business that is registered on Te Aka Haumi o Tahu. Browse and choose a product or service that you would like to win, private message Tahu FM Facebook and listen to the Tahu FM breakfast show at 8.30am every Tuesday in February where the winners will be drawn live on air. There are four opportunities to win on the following dates 4, 11, 18 and 25 February 2020.

One entry per person, however, your name will be re-entered in the draw weekly.

No purchase, entry fee, or payment is necessary to enter this competition.

Information on how to enter the competition forms part of the conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed as acceptance of its terms and conditions.

Conditions and how to enter

Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu is the Sponsor of this competition (the Sponsor). Tahu FM is the promoter of this competition (the Promoter). This competition is not in any way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or Instagram.

All entrants in this competition release the Sponsor and Promoter from any and all claims and demands arising out of, or in connection with participation in this competition or with any of the prizes offered.

  1. During the month of February browse to find a Ngāi Tahu business that you would like to win products or services from to the value of $100NZD.
  2. Comment on the Tahu FM Facebook post with the business name.
  3. Listen to Tahu FM breakfast show on every Tuesday of February at 8.30am and a winner will be drawn live on air (4, 11, 18 and 25 February 2020).
  4. The winners will be required to send a photo of themselves with the product purchased or during provision of the service.
  5. The Promoter will contact the winners to discuss their experience which will be recorded and may be used later by the Promoter.

If the winner(s) do not follow the steps outlined, they may be required to reimburse the Sponsor for the service or product, up to the amount of $100 NZD.

Depending on the individual business that is selected, either a $100 (NZD) voucher will be produced by the business and submitted to the winner(s) or the item will be purchased by the Sponsor on behalf of the winner(s) and posted.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries. The prize cannot be converted into cash.
