Has your employment been impacted by COVID-19? And have you thought about starting a business of your own? Join the Start Me Up programme and learn how to bring your business idea to life!
Powered by the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) and ChristchurchNZ, Start Me Up is a programme for MSD customers who are currently unemployed and considering starting a business as an option.
This is your opportunity to learn the core fundamentals of starting a new business, explore self-employment and the process of building a company of your own. You will be guided by some of New Zealand’s leading business experts, get connected to your local business community and be surrounded by the support you need to succeed.
This first part of the programme is an online short course starting in February. All you need to do is register for the course and you’ll get a link and instructions on how to get started. The programme is available at no cost to all of Christchurch, Selwyn District, and Ashburton residents who are currently unemployed and are receiving a benefit from the Ministry of Social Development.
Space is limited so make sure you register early to reserve your spot now at www.startmeup.co.nz.
