Te Kopa Ora is now accessible for whānau, marae and Papatipu Rūnanga to apply for grants and funding.
If you have applied for grants before, you will be able to use the same log in detail – your whakapapa registration number and password.
If you forgot your whakapapa registration number, you can retrieve it here.
If you forgot your password or it’s your first-time logging in, you will be able to set a new password.
If you are a parent or legal guardian logging in on behalf of a minor, you will need to use their log in details.
We have set you up with a log in. We will email this to your designated contact.
Please contact our Ngāi Tahu Grants Team at [email protected] to be set up an account for Te Kopa Ora.

Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu exists to grow and develop Ngāi Tahu whānau members so they are culturally able, well-connected to their Ngāi Tahu community and outstanding performers in their chosen field.
We’ve got opportunities, scholarships, and programmes for all ages to realise our tribal vision:
mō tātou, ā, mō kā uri ā muri ake nei – for us and our children after us.
Check out the opportunities in the 2023 resource below, and keep the Calendar handy for our open/close dates in 2023.
If you have any pātai, let’s talk.
