COVID-19 Recovery Ngāi Tahu Pakihi Grant

Fund purpose

This fund aims to support the rebuild efforts of Ngāi Tahu whānau owned businesses who currently employ whānau and others and who have pivoted and worked hard to plan for the future, as a result of recent impacts.

Fund grant application criteria

  • The business owner must be registered with Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu
  • The Ngāi Tahu business owner must own at least 50% of the business
  • The business must be in operation and have at least one FTE employee
  • The business must be GST registered
  • Applicant must provide evidence of FTE/employee numbers
  • Applicant must provide current cashflow forecasts
  • Applicant must provide a current Business Plan including Market validation evidence
  • Applicant must provide a brief on the impact this grant will have on their business
  • Successful applicants agree to their details being published in Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu media channels.

Whānau mā, for those of you who do not fit this set of criteria, we will be launching more grant and mentoring opportunities at the end of July 2020.

How to apply for a fund grant

Applications must be made by completing the application form below.
Applicants must fill in your details and provide ALL the information requested (use the checklist provided).
Applications and supporting information must be sent as one PDF to [email protected].
They must be received by 1 July 2020 at 9.00am. Please note late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
