Todd Moyle appointed Chief Executive for Ngāi Tahu Holdings

Ngāi Tahu Holdings Acting Chief Executive, Todd Moyle has officially taken up the role of Chief Executive.

Interim Board Chair of Ngāi Tahu Holdings, Jon Hartley made the announcement today.

Todd began his role with the organisation as Manahautu Te Whano (Chief Operating Officer) in January 2022 and has held the Tumu Akoako (Acting Chief Executive) role since April 2023.

Mr Hartley commended Todd for his work over the past year.

“The economic climate over the last year has provided many challenges. Todd will continue to lead Ngāi Tahu Holdings with a key focus on balancing strong short term performance with longer term growth aspirations.

“With 12 months already in the role, Todd has established himself as a strong leader for the corporate arm of the iwi and we are delighted he now has the certainty and opportunity to set his vision further ahead,” says Mr Hartley.

Todd Moyle says he is excited by what the future holds.

“It’s an honour to lead Ngāi Tahu Holdings, especially so at this crucial point in the organisation’s history,” he says.

Mr Moyle believes Mō Kā Uri, the iwi strategy shaping the vision for Ngāi Tahu for the next 25 years, creates new possibilities for Ngāi Tahu Holdings.

“We have an opportunity to tailor Holdings to align more closely with the aspirations of our whānau members. Our dedicated and talented team are eager to find new ways to sustainably grow the tribal pūtea.

“I look forward to what we can achieve together.”
