Business Grants - Kickstart Grant

The Kickstart Grant is for whānau in their first year in business. The business needs to have at least 50% Ngāi Tahu ownership, have a Registered NZ Business Number and already be trading. 

To apply for a Kickstart Grant, you must be registered as a Ngāi Tahu whanau member and be at least 18 years old. If you have received any grants previously, all reporting and receipts relating to those grants must have been received and approved.

Whānau members can receive a maximum of two Kickstart Grants and can only apply for one grant every 12 months.
