Are you ready to lead transformative change in Records Management across a values-driven organisation? Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu is looking for a passionate and experienced Records Specialist to elevate our information systems, ensuring our people thrive and our taonga is protected today and for generations to come.
This permanent, full-time role is based in Ōtautahi and plays a key part in supporting the Records Manager to ensure Ngāi Tahu’s most valued resources are successfully transferred to the Ngāi Tahu Archive. You’ll have the unique opportunity to work across multiple teams and engage directly with iwi. While the main focus of this position is the transfer of archival material, you may also provide support with records management guidance and compliance activities across the wider organisation.

You’ll bring:
·Proven experience (5+ years) in information and records management, including programme development and implementation.
·Strong understanding of legislation and standards related to records retention, archival processes, and data privacy.
·Proficiency with records management software and technologies, particularly M365.
·A relevant postgraduate qualification in Information Management or related field.
·Cultural competency and a desire to embrace te reo Māori and tikanga.
·A collaborative mindset, confidence, and pragmatism.
