Ngāi Tahu Holdings reappoints Acting Chief Executive

Ngāi Tahu Holdings Acting Chief Executive, Todd Moyle has agreed to continue in the role of Acting Chief Executive (CE), until a permanent CE is in place.

Today, the announcement was delivered by Mike Pohio, board chair of Ngāi Tahu Holdings.

“Todd is a highly valued staff member and has exhibited strong leadership since his appointment in April,” says Mr Pohio. “We are delighted he has agreed to remain in the role while we complete our CE recruitment process.”

Todd began his role as Manahautu Te Whano (Chief Operating Officer) in January 2022 having previously worked at KiwiRail as Chief Operations Officer.

Mr Pohio praised Todd for his work over the last six months.

“Throughout the economic turbulence we have seen in the first half of the year, Todd has demonstrated his ability in the role and we are confident he will continue to guide Ngāi Tahu Holdings towards a successful future.

“I would also like to express my gratitude to the Kaunuku (Ngāi Tahu Holdings’ senior leadership) team for their ongoing dedication and hard work.”

Until a permanent CE is appointed the core Chief Operating Officer (COO) functions will be carried out by Kaunuku in collaboration with the acting CE. Sam Inglis will continue to cover COO duties, Jo Allison will maintain the Health, Safety and Wellbeing portfolio, and Tim Fitzgerald continues as GM Investments.
