Come and meet our teams and leaders at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle and find out how Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu can support you and your whānau.
During the roadshow we’ll be providing opportunities for you to talk to us about our current offerings and tell us what you would like to see from us in the future.
Our Whakapapa unit, Whai Rawa team, and many others will be there and available for you to engage with.
The Ngāi Tahu Roadshow is free to attend but to safely manage the event and provide enough kai, you must register to attend. Our numbers will be limited by venue capacity so register now to avoid disappointment.

Whakapapa 1:1 Sessions
Whakapapa staff will be available for one-on-one sessions on Saturday 28 September. These sessions are a chance for whānau to delve deeper into their Ngāi Tahu whakapapa. Sessions are available for booking now.
Whakapapa staff will also be available at the Roadshow on Sunday 29 September from 10.30am – 2.30pm to assist with whakapapa queries.
Kotahi Mano Kāika Wānaka Reo
Take part in a whakatau, touch on the history of Kāi Tahu reo and Kāi Tahu mīta, play games, explore cultural significance and more.
Join the Kotahi Mano Kāika team for a day of reo learning in a fun and safe environment. Explore our Kāi Tahu reo and dialect, learn waiata and hear our pūrākau. All reo levels welcome.
Kotahi Mano Kāika, Kotahi Mano Wawata (One thousand homes, One thousand aspirations) is the iwi strategy that leads the charge to reinvigorate our language within our Kāi Tahu homes and communities. On the 28th of September Kotahi Mano Kāika will run a one-day reo wānaka for Perth whānau.
Facilitated by Paulette Tamati-Elliffe, Georgia Gunn-Solomon, and Maurice Manawatu, this wānaka is for all reo levels from absolute beginner to those with a lot more kupu in their kete.
