Mercer Scholarship and Internship

As a Ngāi Tahu tertiary student, you have more support available to you than you may realise.

We are now taking applications for the 2024 Mercer Scholarship and Internship.     

Mercer and Ngāi Tahu are continuing with the opportunity to support a Ngāi Tahu rangatahi through a Scholarship and Summer Internship. 

The position will see you working on and supporting key projects and could include undertaking research, analysing data, and preparing information for Mercer’s wide variety of products and services, such as investment consulting and management, administration, superannuation consulting, actuarial and workforce solutions.  You will be well supported with on boarding, mentoring and access to various learning opportunities.

What do I need to be eligible?

• Be in your penultimate year of a relevant tertiary qualification
• Have a genuine desire to connect with your Iwi
• Show us your community engagement or leadership skills
• Be a registered Ngāi Tahu Iwi member
