Ngāi Tahu and TSA Riley have come together to offer an exciting summer internship opportunity with a project management focus, working in one of the national TSA Riley offices.
TSA Riley has a large and diverse portfolio of work spanning the Commercial, Infrastructure, and Residential Sectors. We have had continued success, and due to this we have an opportunity for an ambitious and collaborative Project Management Intern.
What will you be doing:
- Assisting experienced Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects
- Preparing and managing project documentation, including reports, presentations, and contract administration, with support and oversight from an experienced Project Manager
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Communicating with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers to support project objectives
- Participating in project meetings, taking minutes, and following up on action items
- Assisting with budget management, risk analysis, and quality control processes
- Supporting procurement activities and understanding the project lifecycle
- Gaining hands-on experience and insight into various aspects of project management.

Who we are looking for someone who:
- has an interest in gaining hands-on experience and furthering knowledge about the construction / property industry
- has a strong desire to learn and develop skills in client-side project management
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a shared team culture
- has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- is eager to grow within a supportive and dynamic work environment
- is studying in penultimate or final year
- is a registered Ngāi Tahu whānau member
